Since 2020, the Network of Ultraviolet Astronomy (NUVA) decided to begin organizing yearly  e-meetings to keep the community updated and connected. These e-meetings are dedicated to specific topics to take advantage of the short time frame available for this type of global e-reunions.

The topic of the next NUVA e-meeting will be: “From the HST UV Initiative to the Next UV Observatory. Making the Most of Today’s UV Window While Shaping Tomorrow’s Missions”.

The HST UV Initiative reminds us that access to the ultraviolet sky is both scientifically invaluable and increasingly rare. As we maximize the unique opportunities provided by the Hubble Space Telescope, we must also look beyond the present and define the future of UV astronomy. This workshop brings together the UV community to share new scientific results, strengthen collaborations, and shape the scientific and technological vision for the next generation of UV observatories.

The 2026 meeting will be held on 7 & 8 October from 15:00 to 18:00 CEST. During the week of the workshop, this time is UTC+2.

Deadline for the submission of contributions: 6 September 2026. (14:00h UTC+2). The SOC will inform on accepted contributions: 21 September 2026. Deadline for late registration: 2 October 2026 (14:00h UTC+2).
